We are excited to introduce our first ever Winter Workshops starting the week of January 14th.

Do you ask yourself every month, "where does it all go?" Do you hate living paycheck to paycheck with nothing to show for it? Are you swimming in debt and can't seem to find a way out it? Maybe you want to save for a home or a big trip. Maybe you just want help finding that 10% you feel you are being called to give. Invest In Yourself is a basic budgeting course, but it also discovers harmful spending habits and teaches how to have control over your finances. Instead of finances having control over you.

Our first course will be led by Karen Bezaire. She will be helping us with:

  • Financial three-month Analysis
  • Discover spending leaks
  • Discovering what's important in life
  • Creating a budget
  • Learning to live day to day with a budget
  • Getting out of debt
  • Save for the future
  • Giving to God
  • Learn the value of cash
  • Price Shopping
  • and so much more...

Karen Bezaire has a financial background in bookkeeping and accounting and currently works Part Time as the Family Service Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity. After denying so many families for a partnership with Habitat because of debt Karen, decided to write and teach a class to on how to manage a budget and get out of debt so that families could become more stable and financially aware. North Island College heard of the program and offered Karen a partnership. Karen has been teaching Invest In yourself at the College for two years, opening it up free to the community. Karen is committed to building community and helping to strengthen families by becoming their own personal money managers.

Sorry, this class is now full! We will certainly run it again in the future!
