Anyone who asked Jesus about spiritual things discovered they could have relationship with the God through him. But he also had beautiful ministry with people who weren’t asking. He met people’s needs. He helped them catch fish, helped them see, helped them eat, helped them restore relationships, and even helped them have enough wine at a wedding. Community Engagement is about meeting the needs of people in a life-giving and fun way with no strings attached, yet with the hope that those people might recognize their greatest need is Jesus and relationship with God.
